Hey Beantown!

After I get back from Asia and before heading off to Europe, part of my plan is to spend weeks bouncing around cities to see where I want to live when I’m done traveling. I had five amazing years in New York, but I think it’s important to see what’s out there. Change of pace maybe?

So far, I’m going to be spending time in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. In addition to having lots of family (and my niece!) in Boston, Beantown just got another five points for Headquarters Boston‘s co-working space. It’d be great to work on Short Order Designer Notepads and other design stuff along other like-minded small businesses.

Even though I’m an Asian man with an inability to grow an ironic mustache, I think I could get a lot out of this place. It’d make a better, flannel-wearing, nut-huggin’ jean-sportin’ version of me.

UPDATE: I just remembered that Boston has laws against discounting drinks for happy hour. WTF is that about? -5 Boston!
